Bentley Continental GT – The New Version has Landed

After becoming so popular when it was first released, the Bentley Continental GT has come a long way since. And so it comes as a welcomed surprise to hear that Bentley are now introducing a new version of the highly successful vehicle that will be even better than the original used Bentley Continental GT in so many ways. The most noticeable changes made are the cars’ W12 engine, which incorporates FlexFuel capabilities. Of course there are also some exterior updates to the design, which subtly improves the outer shell viewing, but the car still remains true to its identity. From the inside there is even more improvements that include a new dashboard that houses a touch screen entertainment system. Passengers have even been allocated additional leg room, which is always something of a bonus. With a new ZF transmission, the new Bentley GT Continental delivers what the company describes as being a more dynamic and engaging driving experience. Suspension has been stiffened that assist in providing the GT Continental more stability on the road. Overall power has also been improved on the used Bentley Continental GT with the new version now offering 567 BHP and 516 lb of torque. Speed statistics have therefore been improved with the car being able to achieve 0 to 62 mph in only 4.6 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 198 mph. With new innovations like those listed above comes an increased price, but as of yet, no official figures have been released to the press.

Audi R8 RS – Magnificent and Special All in One

As if the original used Audi RS8 was not enough, Audi has now released plans for a new and upgraded version of the car that shook the motor industry when it was first introduced. The new and upgraded version of the car will be even more robust and will be powered by a reported 5.2 litre V10 engine that has been taken from the R8 GT unit. And so because of this the new RS R8 will offer a whopping 600 hp, which will mean even more power from a compact vehicle that will now weigh even less than the original; talk about making improvements! Some of this weight reduction may well be attributed to the car being only rear wheel drive (and not Quattro) as well as the new front lip, which has been made of the carbon fibre material. New side skirts and a new rear diffuser are other areas that have seen improvements made, which also adds to the overall look and feel of the car. However, the car still maintains some of the elements that made it so special in the first place such as the Recaro bucket seats, which heavily contribute to the quality of the interior. Being a personal favourite, the Audi R8 was a vehicle that gained a lot of attention for its eccentric looks and exceptional driving performance. And therefore, it is expected that the R8 RS will have a similar impact on both the industry and consumers in general.

Aston Martin Lagonda – A New Sedan in the Making

Reports surfaced last year that suggested the Aston Martin car giant was going to introduce an SUV version of the popular used Aston Martin Lagonda model. However, after seemingly receiving a lukewarm reception to this idea, the company have now scrapped plans for its introduction and have instead released news that they will be offering the Lagonda in a Sedan type. The report suggests that this new unit will be naturally longer in length and will be designed with the element of luxury very much in mind. In fact, so much so that the Aston Martin Chief Executive announced that it would be the luxury car of the future; quite a statement some might say. However, the only thing about this whole situation is that the Lagonda Rapide will not be available for at least another few years (reportedly four); after all, to define the future of luxury cars – it will take some time to accomplish. Recognised all over the world for producing excellent high performing sports cars, Aston Martin also has a glowing reputation for luxury, which would seemingly make the rumoured plans for the new Lagonda Rapide quite fitting. Regardless of its actual official release date, personally I think that this vehicle is one that is definitely worth waiting for. And if it is anything like the previous versions of the original model, then Aston Martin enthusiasts really are in for a very big treat when it is eventually rolled out into the market.

Volkswagen Caddy Maxi – An Upmarket People Carrier

Recognised for their abilities to produce a wide range of different automotives, Volkswagen are a company that is certainly in the mix when it comes to commercial vehicles. Vauxhall Insignia VXR – Providing a Terrific Performance

Long has been the case where Vauxhall have provided the industry with something special, something that is different from the rest of the pack. The R-Class from Mercedes - Something a Little Different

The executive market is very much the area that has long been associated with new and used Mercedes-Benz cars, which is very much down to the luxury designs and prestige interiors that are on offer. So when a vehicle like the R-Class comes along it will quite naturally raise a few eyebrows simply due to the fact that it is very much an indifferent design. It is quite a large vehicle but just stops short of being too big. Muscular is probably the best word that can be used to describe the R-Class and I suppose you could also call it quite unique. It is of course an SUV but offers the same type of luxury provided by a typical Mercedes-Benz Saloon. Without doubt, the exterior design is the main focal point and with features such as those detailed above as well as things like bi-xenon headlamps, updated bonnet and side wings, this is a Mercedes auto that really is going places. The alloy wheels in place are also quite impressive, which add a nice touch; as do the privacy glass that is tinted to add a dark and deep effect. As for the inside, the Mercedes-Benz R-Class provides an array of elegant materials that is combined with a refined and sublime finish. An aluminium dashboard trim as well as lots of inside space make for a stylish and comfortable environment for al occupants. Maserati GranTurismo - Innovation at its Best

Now this is a vehicle that has been dominating the automotive industry for many years and was made especially popular after the hit console game, GranTurismo, that was available on the main console systems of the 1990’s / early 2000’s. And this is not without reason as it is a true Maserati vehicle; built with all the vigour and style that the industry has now come to expect from this truly inventive car manufacturer. Of course the performance of the vehicle as well as its exterior look is recognised worldwide but in my opinion it is the interior that is the most charming element of the car. This is no used Maserati style from ten years ago – this is the new breed of Maserati car that will without doubt provide the foundation for future designs. It combines prestige materials with true Maserati luxury, which provides an ideal situation for long journeys. What is most impressive about the cars’ interior is that the GranTurismo is a sports car and the normal interior for such vehicles is not usually as prestigious as the one found here. In fact, comfort was one of the main focuses for Maserati engineers when designing this unit and it has certainly delivered in that department. Much of this comfort can be attributed to the Poltrona Frau leather that is incorporated into various areas inside the car and makes for an incredibly comfortable driving experience for both driver and passengers.

BMW M3 Coupe – The Style Icon of the Motoring World

The brand of BMW has been around for as long as I can remember and at all times during this period, it has been one of the front runners in the automotive world. Every brand has a vehicle that fans describe as being a “flagship” model, and BMW is no different. The BMWM3 Coupe is one car that has definitely caught the imagination of buyers all over the world and is one of the many vehicles that has assisted in propelling BMW to the top of the industry. Bentley – A Brand of Elegant Luxury

Year upon year the brand of Bentley just seems to grow and grow in popularity. The price that a Bentley car can achieve is the equivalent of 2 or 3 regular-priced vehicles of regular manufacturers. They are expensive, but boy are they worth every penny. Of course, that is what owners of used Bentley cars say, and who could blame them, for Bentley have been providing the most luxurious cars around since their very first model was brought and introduced to the market. Many see the exterior of Bentley cars to be the main entity for separating them from the competition, but my personal opinion is that it is the interior, which is the best I have ever seen in terms of luxury and comfort. The very best in soft leather and the finest woods adored worldwide, are just some of the truly unique and distinct features that are offered in new and used Bentley units; with the latter worthy contenders of the title, classic cars. In fact, class cars and luxury are combined with most used Bentley vehicles; those such as the Mulsanne and the Arnage are among the most luxurious and recognised names in the automotive industry and both will live on forever. More recent models such as the Bentley Continental are less classical and are more suited for the current market and the modern consumer. However, even with a style so new and fresh, the Continental model has still managed to retain the quality assurance of the Bentley brand – as well as the hefty price tag! Nonetheless, many would say that it is indeed a price worth paying and that the Continental has given the brand a boost, which has seen it re-position itself at the top of the pile in the automotive industry.
