Mazda 323

The Mazda 323, also known as the Mazda Familia, is a long-running model of the Mazda brand. Essentially seen as a car for the lower middle class, the car is one of the best selling Japanese cars in Europe. It is not a secret that Japanese cars are among the most reliable cars around and Mazda strengthens this image. The reliability and demand for the Mazda 323 was attributed to the fact that they were in production for a considerable amount of time, between the years 1980 and 2003. The used Mazda 323 provides a very good driving experience in the city, the handling is exceptional and the car can take corners as if it were glued to the tarmac. The legroom, both at the back as well as in front, is surprisingly generous for a car of this size. A comfortable driving position combined with the reasonably quiet and economical engine contributes to a very good all-round car. On the downside longer journeys on motorways or at high speed can cause some instability on uneven or lower quality roads. Due to this, some have attributed the car as somewhat jumpy. Still, even if further problems would happen to arise, the maintenance costs for the used Mazda 323 are relatively cheap.
